Wagons hit with ’empty balls’ “everyone who saw the game knows”

Moon Sung-dae Reporter = After being hit by a pitch, Manny Machado (San Diego Padres) was convinced it was an “empty ball”.

Starting at third base and batting fourth in the lineup, Machado hit a solo home run to lead the Padres to a 5-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2023 Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series at Petco Park in San Diego, California, U.S., on Sept. 26 (local time).

Machado also hit a game-tying solo archer in the bottom of the second inning to break open a 1-0 deficit.

Machado was hit by a pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning. With a 2-1 lead, Juan Soto hit a solo home run and Machado stepped to the plate. Pittsburgh pitcher Angel Perdomo immediately threw a pitch toward Machado.

After being hit in the back, Machado walked to first base, glaring at Perdomo, who refused to make eye contact with him.

Machado seemed convinced that Perdomo had hit him on purpose.

The umpires discussed Perdomo’s pitch and decided that it was an empty ball and immediately ejected him. The umpires also ejected Pittsburgh manager Derek Shelton, who stormed out of the dugout to protest.카지노

“I think everyone who watched the game knows what happened there,” Machado said after the game, adding, “There’s nothing more to say. The most important thing is that we won.”
