Second shutout loss of the season… Coach Tillikainen: “I didn’t deserve to win”

Korean Air, the sole leader in men’s professional volleyball, hung its head over and over again. It is a defeat that the command tower has no choice but to admit.

Korean Air lost to KB Insurance with a set score of 0-3 (18-25 24-26 19-25) in the men’s round 4 away match of the ‘Dodram 2022-23 V-League’ held at Uijeongbu Gymnasium on the 24th.

Korean Air, which won all three matches this season, failed to maintain its momentum.

It is the second time that Korean Air has suffered a shutout loss this season, following the OK Financial Group match on the 1st.

They poured out 23 offenses, and not a single sub ace broke the title of the top team in the sub.

There were no double-digit scorers. Jung Ji-seok scored the most with 9 points. Foreign player Lincoln Williams 메이저사이트had only 4 points and an attack success rate of 36%.

Coach Tommy Tilikhainen expressed regret, saying, “Today’s performance shows that we do not deserve to win. If we play like this, we have no choice but to lose.”

He added, “KB Insurance has prepared well. In particular, Villena showed a very good performance.”

Coach Tillikainen talked a lot with the players to stop Vijena, who played for Korean Air in the past. However, Villena flew with 26 points that day.

“It’s hard to say because it’s too complicated,” said Tilikhainen about not stopping Vijena.

Korean Air is taking an eight-day break after the match. The command tower plans to face the remaining 5-6 rounds through sufficient rest.

Coach Tillikainen said, “I need to recharge for the remaining two rounds. I plan to take an additional break.”
