“Screen golf’s strongest player” Kim Min-soo has a chance to win his first Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour event.
Kim shot a 3-under 69 with five birdies and two bogeys in the second round of the KPGA Korean Tour’s KB Financial Live Championship (total prize money of 700 million won) at Blackstone Golf Club (Par 72) in Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, on Saturday.
With a 7-under-par total of 137, Kim made the turn in a tie for the lead with Lee Jung-hwan.
Kim is no stranger to double-digit wins in screen golf tournaments. However, he hasn’t had much success on the Korean Tour. His best finish is a tie for fourth.
“In screen golf, variables like distance and wind strength are numerical, so you can calculate them accurately. However, field is difficult because there are too many variables. But field tournaments are more fun and I’m greedy. For now, we are aiming for a top 10 finish.”메이저놀이터
