Lionel Messi of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the French professional soccer Ligue 1 has scored the most goals in the history of Europe’s top five leagues. The team won its second straight regular season title and 11th overall.
PSG drew 1-1 with Strasbourg in the 37th round of the 2022-2023 Ligue 1 at the Stade de la Meno in Strasbourg, France, on Aug. 28 (KST) after Messi opened the scoring in the 14th minute, but Kevin Gameiro equalized in the 34th minute.
