Hwang Seon-hong wears ‘traditional red-red’ against Kuwait…and gets first win

The Asian Games men’s soccer team, led by Hwang Sun-hong, will wear its traditional red jersey as it hunts Kuwait.

Hwang will wear “all red” for the Asian Games Men’s Football Group E match against Kuwait at Jinhua Stadium in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, China, at 8:30 p.m. (KST) on Aug. 19. The goalkeeper will be in “all purple.

Having won the last two editions, South Korea will be looking to win an unprecedented third consecutive title at the Hangzhou Asian Games. Having won gold medals in Incheon and Jakarta-Palembang on the back of first-round group wins, a win against Kuwait is a must.

With ‘key man’ Lee Kang-in set to join the squad on the 21st after playing for his club, Hwang Sun-hong is expected to field a lineup centered around wildcard Baek Seung-ho, Park Jin-seop and Seol Young-woo. The offense will be led by Cho Young-wook, Song Min-gyu, Jung Woo-young and Uhm Won-sang.온라인바카라
