Newcastle United have qualified for the UEFA Champions League (UCL).

Newcastle drew 0-0 with Leicester City in the 37th round of the 2022-23 English Premier League (EPL) at St. James’ Park in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, at 4 a.m. ET today. The result puts Newcastle on 70 points (19 W, 13 D, 5 L), four points clear of fifth-placed Liverpool, and secures their place in the UCL.

Newcastle brought a 4-3-3 formation. Isaac, Wilson, Almiron, Anderson, Guimarães, Longstaff, Byrne, Boatman, Shearer, and Trippier started, with Pope in goal. Against them, Leicester utilized a 5-3-2 formation. Vardy, Iheanacho, Soumare, Tillemans, Ndidi, Thomas, Pace, Evans, Souttar, and Castagne filled out the starting lineup, with Iversen in goal.
